Henry Grady Nash was the Sherrif of Walton County, Georgia in the 1940's.

"H. Grady Nash - Dies Following A Heart Attack"
Funeral Services were held last Friday, 04 Apr from the St. Stephens Methodist Church for Henry Grady Nash of Monroe, RT # 3, Rev. E. L. Ruark served as the officiating minister and the Williams & Smith Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Interment followed at the Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Walton County, Georgia.
Mr. Nash who was 62 years old, died at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday from a Heart Attack. He was stricken while pursuing his duties at the Monroe Cotton Mill where he had been a valued and esteemed worker for a long number of years. Mr. Nash died shortly after his arrival at the Walton County Hospital.
A native of Elbert County, he was the son of the late William Nash and Mary C. (Burse) Nash. He had lived in Monroe for many years and at one time was a member of the Monroe Police Department.
In Addition to his wife, Mr. Nash is survived by seven children: Mrs. L. D. Croch, Petal, Georgia, Mrs. W. O. Prickett, Social Circle, Georgia, Miss Sara Nash, Jacksonville, Florida, Miss Ruby Nash, Monroe, Georgia, Mrs. J. J. Hutchins, Atlanta, Georgia, Elmer Nash, Decatur, Georgia, Cpl. Henry Nash, U. S. Air Force; Hoyt Nash, Alabama,; Bula Nash, Comer, Georgia, Rubin Nash, Atlanta, Georgia. Three sisters also survive him.
